There's a reason why people like Assange aren't on NicoLive with thousands of people listening to every word he says, Japan is a corrupt country with a lot of skeletons in the closet.
I hope the next cable leaks will deal with Japan.

My, what a masochist, doesn't he ever get enough people hating him? Or does he just like the publicity?

The man looks like some kind of crazy cultist and acts like a bond villain.

I'm not entirely sure what this has to do with Otaku culture.

I think Assange is primarily dealing with attempting to do as much as he can to damage the U.S in particular. Maybe after he's leaked everything that he can get, he'll go after China, Russia, Japan etc.

He's basically a real-life supervillain, or superhero depending on your point of view. He could also be a plant from the Spooks, or Wikileaks is going to start being fed misinformation from the Spooks in favor of U.S policies. After all, practically all of the leaks from China were amazingly in favor of U.S priorities.. for example the cables implied China wouldn't go to war if there was a conflict between the Koreas, and that much of the Chinese government would prefer to see Seoul take over if they reunited, and a bunch of other "wait.. really now? -China- said this?" kind of deals going on.

Honestly, Assange is probably the only person I would run over if I were to see him walking in the street, because he's such a fucking attention whore.

It'll take more than that to make him /jp/ related. Assange doesn't appear to be one of those naturally moe people like Putin.

>> No.6554855

I don't get it why people even bother hating him, or worse, wanting him dead. He's just providing a service. The only "evil" think he does is market/PR his project. If they want to blame someone, they should blame the leaks, not the one providing the infrastructure to make leakers safe (which is indirectly the US NRL due to them creating Tor).

I have it from good sources that 92 percent of the Russian government's budget goes to Putin's PR department.

I wish all his cables were true cables... but this is too suspictious...

>> No.6554875

I don't see what's suspicious about any of them.

Governments agencies that are relatively insulated from politics (CIA, NSA, etc) are all about pragmatism above all else. The same holds true for China. They don't want to get their hands dirty messing with North Korea because they know the country is a psychotic dirtball as well as everybody else does. They only pretend to be North Korea's "eternal ally" because it's a fellow "communist" nation. They really don't give a damn about them, and that really shouldn't have surprised anyone.
