I firmly disagree.

The mechanics are original and interesting, and meter management looks like it'll require a LOT of strategy. The only way they can fuck this up is if there's only ONE brutally effective strategy, but seeing at the game has bursts, I highly doubt it.

Guys, you know that every counter meta lowers the amount of time the meta-field can stay up, right? At least, that's what I'm reading.

Fist person counters, and the time it can stay up is reduced by 25%. So, if the caster thinks it's worth it, they can counter-counter, knowing that they'll be getting less time to keep their field up. If it gets countered AGAIN, the time is reduced by another 25%.

So I skimmed through and didn't find anyone else saying it, but wouldn't the roman numerals in the select screen indicate the Major Arcana? Beato=Magician, Hamburger=Hanged Man, Shannon=Justice (fffffYasu)

In that case, secret characters: IV, The Emperor. If Ronove is the Empress as it's presented as subordinate instead of gender-specific, that seems to be the perfect spot for Bern as the mastermind of the game. X, The Wheel of Fortune. Lambda grants wishes and shit, is associated with luck and fortune.

VII, The Chariot, as indicated by different color and the obvious need for a giant overpowered boss character, will probably be something silly a la G-Akiha, or maybe Dlan? I agree with the the sentiment that there won't be any Chiru characters to further the appeal to people who have only seen the anime.

There's a problem with that. What would MARIA's moveset be? Sakutarou is already used by Ange, so it's practically impossible to see MARIA in the game. It could have been a nice Carl-like character, though, but Ange took her place.
