Explain this to me, /jp/.

Red: I am the 18th visitor.

Visitors = Normal folks, Erika, Kanon, and Shannon.
People = Normal folks, Erika, Yasu.

However, "It is forbidden for a servant to be the culprit." Therefore, the personalities Shannon and Kanon cannot kill, because they are obviously servants. And no other Yasus can exist because then the "visitor" count would be 19+. And plus, "Yasu" is still a servant, anyway.

How is Yasu the culprit again?

>> No.6501348

There is a fucking thread already, condense your autism.

>> No.6501346

Dine and Knox rules were never said to apply.

Besides, culprit could mean anything.

Could mean that the culprit is Nanjo manipulating Gohda into cooking a meal that makes Yasu go crazy.

>>6501327
Red means nothing.

The culprit is whoever Ryu says it is in the twelfth game.

>> No.6501355

ok picture this
yasu has a giant throbbing erect spiked cock when she thinks about batter
you know what it looks like? it's a fucking meter long
when it's a metter long it has a consciousness on its own, and don't tell me it can't kill because it is ready and willing and prepared to penetrate

I better not have just had absolutely all of Umineko spoiled for me.
I just started episode 2.

Nobody said Shannon and Kanon are nothing but Yasu's, a child Natsuhi threw off a cliff but who was actually the son of Kinzo and his daughter, personalities and this Yasu is the culprit.

You are still spoiler safe

God damnit. I hate you guys.
Brain damage here I come.

>> No.6501447

You could get around the Yasu = servant thing with Beatrice being another 'personality' doing all the killing.

However, then what about the person count?

Furthermore, (and this isn't even subtle, it's outright stated in Ep6) Featherine brings up the point that Battler seems unlikely to forgive someone that went and murdered his entire family.

So yes, why in the world does ANYONE think Yasu is the culprit again?

Still seems to me that the most likely answer is Yasu set up a playacting of the murders (which explains how the faked deaths in Ep5-6 tie into Ep1-4, also explains stuff like Nanjo and Kumasawa's deaths in Ep4) but the 'real' culprit killed everyone and made it all go wrong.

So then why is everyone going all "Yasu is the culprit, Yasu killed everyone!"?

I just don't understand their reasoning. I mean, even the Japanese are doing it.

The Japanese fans gave up about seven episodes ago, which is why Ryukishi hates them so much.

Because people can't just say "Yasu covered the real culprit so Battler can't see a cruel truth"

>> No.6501562

I already explained.
Erika is the 18th visitor but there are 17 people including her.
These 2 facts aren't contradictory at all.
Kinzo is counted as a visitor on the island, the definition of visitor doesn't say he has to be still alive after all.

If you want another example you could say that the vikings were the first visitors of America and Christopher Colombus the second well after the vikings died.

That's silly sir, and you know it :/

>> No.6501596

>>6501557

So wait, are you implying that everyone has been saying "Yasu killed everyone" to propagate the "Beatrice killed everyone" lie to obscure the real truth from people that haven't reached it yet?

...Because that's kind of awesome.

I'm willing to consider this possibility, but it still feels off to me. I can't see them taking all that time making Kinzo's state of existence wholly irrelevant for it to come back as a loophole in 6. Plus, I can't see where it'd be implied that this was the case. I don't say that "I have visitors" if there's a dead body in my back yard.

Thanks for actually explaining though, it's not that hard, see?

Yasu did plan to kill everyone. And she did kill everyone in the fictional scenarios of episodes 1-4. It's just that if someone solves the epitaph before she gets to the killings, she won't kill anyone.

...I'd just like to say...it's not actually even a count of visitors at all...

我こそは来訪者ッ 六軒島の18人目の人間ッ!!
I am the visitor, the 18th human on Rokken Island!!

It's just Erika calling herself A visitor, not that she's one of eighteen visitors. It's the difference between "18ninme no ningen" and "17nin da," not "18ninme no raihousha"

...so, yeah, this visitor count argument is kinda dumb.
