So is Family Project really all it's cracked up to be?

I haven't been spoiled, but from what I've seen of other people talking about it, it is supposedly a really good visual novel.

Just looking at the premise for the plot makes it scream generic and almost lines it with typical eroge.

I actually paid for it, and I have to say it's one of the worst purchases I've ever done.
It's never-ending utter shit.

All the good scores it got are because it's quite old and 2001 didn't have many good games beside Kiminozo.
So don't go in expecting a mindblowing masterpiece, it's nice but it aged quite a bit.

It's really boring most of the time. It's kind of worth playing for Hiroshi, but that's about it.

I really don't like the word, but I can say it is Overrated.
It left me a warm feeling of 'family' after I finished it, but nothing unique.
I wouldn't recommend it.
