My two friends from college recently got married, I found out from a post card 3 months after it happened.

>> No.6487983

No ones getting married in this city. There are father/motherless children everywhere. Hell even 10 years ago there was only one guy in my class with both parents. This World has gone straight to shit.

If I had a western styled wedding it would be pretty sad. There would only be about 6 people on my side while the bride would probably have a lot. Japanese people have it pretty lucky if they chose a traditional wedding.

I have an awesome wife, twins (brother and sister), a little brother who asked me to be his best man, an older sister I walked down the isle (our father died from cancer) and am expecting a niece in about 3 months.

I'm pretty fucking happy.

What's stopping you from having a shinto wedding in a western country?
This being /jp/, I mean aside from lacking a bride.

If you're a girl, you can blind yourself, be an itako and eventually marry a deity. I wonder if men can do that too.

Maybe I can manage to institute myself as a Shinto deity instead and marry a cute, coy itako maiden who purifies herself by sitting under water naked and refraining from eating meat for weeks before she even dares to ask my hand in marriage (in itako wedding ceremonies the priestess asks you instead, so it's great for shy Anonymous-deities. ) She'd be blind (a requirement for being an itako) and rather clumsy, so I'd have to help her in all things despite supposedly being a deity. In fact, since Shinto deities can manifest themselves in many forms, I'd turn myself into a cute girl as well, growing a penis only to fulfill my duties as a husband.

We'd then live in my shrine forever, with me dutifully cooking and cleaning for the sake of my blind wife, despite her insisting that she should be the one doing those tasks. She'd be disappointed with herself since she cannot even act as a proper wife, but I'd gently kiss her and tell that since I'm a girl now as well, it is not inappropriate for me to do housework. Of course, while saying that I would also start to molest her, and then do things to her that are inappropriate for two girls to do.

Alright, first step: become a god.

Lonely nerds on this board that sit in their rooms because they are scared of life think It does.

Do you even browse this board?

>> No.6488046

Ive been browsing /a/ since before this board was made. Ive been browsing this board since it was made.

This is how a large portion of the losers on this board think. Some really do think their lives would improve if they lived in Japan. They blame everyone around them for being the way they are rather than place them blame were it belongs. They have low self esteem and are to lazy to improve them selves so their lives are not so miserable.

I think most people do realize they only have themselves to blame for their shortcomings.

My life would be better, though. Presumably I would know Japanese, so I don't have to wait for translations for all the crap that isn't (or go through the trouble of learning it as a second language,) I could go to Comiket and Reitaisai and buy doujins without going through the trouble of flying in, and I wouldn't have to worry about proxy shipping and stuff like that for things I wanted to buy.

Only a coward takes the blame for the failures of others.

Then again, a lot of people here probably really do only have themselves to blame. Oh well.
