the other day on a waifu thread some guy told me that i could not possibly have a waifu because i'm not enough of a loser, he said that japanese could delude themselfs into having a waifu because they were thick in self-loath and lack any pride, i don't care what he thinks about my dear uiharu but i got curious on this, are the japanese otaku really on a tier of their own or was he just trolling?

Yes and no.

You have to be High Loser Tier to be able to truly appreciate a waifu, but you can still have one.
