I just got saw new figures in today so I thought I'd show them as well as the rest of my collection. The Ran and the Mercedes were 50% off retail price from Midtown Comics. Shipping was $20 though. The Ciel was $54 but included free shipping Amazon.

I hate when people collect a lot of garbage, 20 figures here, 30 figures there. Shitty quality, sugoi quantity.

As for me, I have a list of my ultimate favorite figures and I will not going to buy anything else.
I also will buy a showcase with lights and shit, something like this for my figures. I can't see at all these crappy shelves with tons of dust and bad lighting.

If you have a hobby, you should be obsessed with it and take it as a serious business.

I collect figures because unlike most people, I actually play with the things. They're really fun to use along with Warhammer 40k and other miniatures in Tabletop RPGs. I use mine for Dark Heresy and Maid RPG. I find the figumate ones to be the best for Dark Heresy because they can fit into dungeon tiles that you can use during combat. Bigger figures like gashapon and PVC can be used for NPC interaction.

I've seen them, and they're alright if you like the series, I guess. Looking at the rest of their line, though, I don't really trust anything they put out. They might have scored a decent sculptor here and there, but they don't have a solid run.

I also couldn't give a shit about Code Geass or Macross, and I think the figures he posted are pretty tacky. Highlighter green hair and huge hot pink dresses, not really my cup of tea.
