The third reich needed Scandinavia for their supplies.
That is why he made great effort to solidify the straight northen conection to Sweden, but what he really wanted was a straight connection to Norway, and that is also why a significant part of Brittain's navy was deplayed west of Norway the whole time (that was to be deployed elsewhere otherwise), and is also the reason as to why they never got their hands on Norway.
And Finland was also part of the deals they made with Soviet.

Without any of this, nothing would ever have happened, and had it been cut off/prevented, everything would have ended.

Then again, the nordic cross flags would really strike contrast against Deukuit's flag, and I am also not quite as sure how many who keeps tabs on important factors such as these when they may come off as uninteresting when there were few direct big battles or conquests involved.

Their territories are far away from you that you can probably only get to them in late game. By the time you conquered them there wouldn't be any time for romantic or character development. Also major faction leaders aren't heroines on their past games.

Maybe they haven't, but they just haven't marked who the heroines will be. Two of the heroines in Daibanchou were basically random grunts from two of the factions. Another was a relative nobody on the starting team who only distinguished herself by being on the starting team. And the fourth was late game, so very well could be someone like one of the faction leaders.

- Alliances and order of nations to battle will diversify the story.
The flowchart looks insane due to the many subdivision of story splitting

- Over 100 characters

- Treaties proposed by other nations can be either postponed or reacted upon immediately
If you postpone too long, you may become their colony
If you start the war too early, other nations will criticize you

- The difference in battle system from other Dai series is the fact you assign multiple units for each Admiral to create a fleet

- There are different types of ships such as Battleships, Destroyers, Cruisers, Carriers, etc.

- Due to different units having defences against certain types, it's good to balance out the fleet,
but sometimes focusing on one type may come in handy depending on the situation

- After successfully occupying a city, you can search the city for events
