I wasn't sure whether or not to put this in /a/ or here for a short bit.

I know we as non-Japanese speakers have an astronomical amount of Japanese material we'd like translated, from anime to manga to visual novels to light novels to fanart to drama CDs and never enough translators to do so, but is there anything Western than the Japanese are really interested in getting translated to their language?

Short answer: yes.

Long answer: don't expect specific examples, if we were interested in western media, we'd be on /co/ or /tv/. Ask them, they probably have more incentive to know how their favourite titles are doing around the world.

I don't think so, since everything that might be of interest is translated to Japanese anyway. Movies are dubbed, games are subbed, books are translated...
