Black Barrel = Relic gun, only usable by humans, could wipe out Arc with a full powered blast, Sion created a replica which only has a fraction of the true guns power

Ea = the sword that is the manifestation of "hell" or "existence before life", all living things, all things that exist, have this basic memory within them (for humans its written on a genetic level, even though they are unaware of it), because of this; Ea is a weapon that exists a part of the everything and nothing, whereas most weapons (like Excalibur) exist under the limitations of Gaia. in sumarian legend Ea was the god of water, and Enuma Elish is the knife that split apart heaven and earth.

As far as drills go, it somehow looks like it was crossed with a spear, with multiple gears piled up to dig a gigantic hole. The three parts of the blade spin separately, as if it was eating bedrock little by little.

The sword of rupture.

A weapon that slices through space itself. While Excalibur releases air, the sword draws it in by cycling its triblades and compresses it. The highly compressed wind pressure strata results in the creation of an artificial space-time rift that is thought to be the basis of all legends of lands of the dead, the origin of the memory of all organisms. In other words, Ea can be said to be a key to hell itself or rather absolute "truth" according to Gilgamesh. Something that is not found in the imagination or in the spoken memory of people, but in the genetically inherent and repressed knowledge of a place and time when organic existence had been impossible on this planet.

Randomly picked up a book on mythical weapons, flipped through one of the pages to find an entry about the sword of Ea. Apparently, there was a sword that Ea used to kill the god, Ullikummi, a stone giant, and a very strong one at that, able to fend off the attacks of some 70 gods. A magic sword that separated heaven and earth, which cleaved through the ankles of the giant (his body was allegedly indestructible). The giant collapsed and died.

Aoko, Touko and Zelretch are supposed to be of the five sorcerers (now adding SHirou) that can do this 'true miracle.'

Apart from SHirou (and Sacchin in the mess that is Melty Blood, and a note fro Motherfucking Roa) we haven't seen anyone else doing something like it .

Weapon would be destroyed by the force of it's own blow because only the shield is invincible (blocks everything) while no such claim is made for the sword. Shield may arguably be destroyed too, because if it's being wielded, it's possible to have blocked the attack from reaching its target while being broken from doing it.

The description of the 6th as "multiplanar" supports this. It's not clear whether the "space-time rift" of Ea makes it past the 6th dimension, which is the only way it would get through Avalon.

example is Archers RM; a world of infinite blades, such a thing is possible (in the nasuverse atleast), the contradiction exists in that "hey this chunk of land shouldnt contain infinite blades, its supposed to be a school or something like that)
there was no natural transition of school -> place of unlimited blades.

hence why True magic is slowly dwindling
