I just finally 1cc'd IN Easy 2 weeks ago myself, tried EoSD last night and 1cc'd it on easy the very first try, so it does help build skills for survival. I'm grinding on normal IN now, it's painful [Spam enough stars there, Marisa? Jeez...] but I'm slowly improving.

I also refuse to fire upon Cirno, I just dodge everything. I won't hurt mai waifu! [Yes, I am strange.]

-1cc'd Easy with ALL teams and Reimu solo (doing Yukari solo tonight)
- 0 lives starting out (finish with 1 or 2 left because of stupid shit against Reisen; not deathbombing when needing to)
- Reisen's STILL a bitch to deal with (two of her attack patterns starts instantly, which either screws you out of a life or out of a possible 1up trying to collect the points)
- Kaguya only becomes a bitch during the Night Bonus spells. The rest are as easy as Easy Modo itself. Hardly faced Eirin, but probably should.

Team Ghost gave me hell with this, but then I learned the Malice Cannon trick works with them too, getting Youmu to focus her shots. Marisa/Tewi/Reisen/Eirin/Kaguya don't stand a chance after that. Still did a better job with them than with Team Vampire.

After I finish that, I'll try 1cc-ing/0 lives on Normal.

You have a very good point there. At least Marisa doesn't fly all over the place.
It's mainly just the smaller stars that come in from the sides. I can get by Master Spark with relative ease, Non Directional Laser always gets me, though.

I have an easier time against Reimu than Marisa, both on Normal or Hard difficulties. Maybe its because Reimu requires less micrododging (new word).

Ah, I remember starting with easy mode. I slowly got used to things and only really had a couple problems with last stages. Once I got into normal, the moment I hit stage four on most games I felt a shock of difficulty.
