So I have a question,

how much trouble would one get in if they got caught with a pistol in there possesion in Japan?

I'm sailing to Japan in another month and want to bring my glock 26 for a carry piece. Not expecting to use it I just like to have it. I brought it alone when I sailed to Thailand a year ago, and I want to do the same in Japan. But Depending on the consequences it may just stay on the boat :/
