Get Tsukihime, it is a very good VN for newbs and is well localised.

For downloads, use google. Type in the name of said novel and download, alternatively add hongfire to your search query.

Hongfire is a good resource for VNs, but NEVER make contact with the inhabitants, they're all faggots. No exceptions.

there's a few nice people who provide codes, tools, mods, rips and stuff, don't be so quick to pass judgment. Sure, 90% of the board is like that, but "no exceptions" is a bit harsh.
