Why is mage loli so fucking cute? I've made a Spitfire and a Crusader and enjoyed both, but I've poured the most time into my Witch, Elem and soon to be BM. People say she has the hardest time at low levels, but honestly it's the most fun for me. I'm so used to it, I can perfect run everything through Puppet Museum on my first try. After that, I start needing a level advantage or some serious luck on Master/King if I'm solo.

For the record, it's because everyone in the initial playthrough thought "The Gun guy shouldn't be this slow", hence the introduction of the Female Gunner. She's WAY FASTER than the male one, but deals less damage outside of the Mechanic subclass.

(Note: as mentioned before, DFO/DNF is based from a Korean game.)

Well there are rumors that female slayers and male fighters will be implemented eventually but I wouldn't count on it.

As far as balance goes (I assume you mean PvP) it really isn't. Nexon has taken steps towards balance but as it stands almost all the highest ranked players in PvP roll gunner or slayer. Which isn't to say they are easier to PvP with but they are capable of sustaining bigger combos and juggles. As it stands certain classes have a very hard time beating other classes.

If you have the ability to solo, you can absolutely do so. You actually get more exp per go than if you're splitting it up between a group(though there is a substantial group EXP bonus) at the expense of more time. When there's time-based experience bonuses, though, you're gonna want to party. There are some classes that are garbage at solo, though. Still, if you want to be the silent asshole that efficiently beats everyone up in PvP, go ahead.

Be a summoner.

1. You are a cute loli.
2. You have monsters to do the fighting for you.
3. You need no one.
3a. If you aren't awakening, you'll need no one. Otherwise, 500VP (Victory points, done via PvP, which is..somewhat difficult for a summoner, if your opponent isn't a tard) will be needed. And during your awakening, YOU WILL NEED BACKUP. Vilmark and Relic are not friendly places.

The game doesn't attract autistic people, but you do get a fair share of weaboos and 12 year olds.

Party play is kind of necessary but its nowhere near as bad as you might think. It's not social, you just make a party or request to join, run the dungeon and then leave, no need to talk or interact with the other players in anyway.

Of course if you are truly not a sociable person, you could roll Summoner, who can practically solo all of the content in the game but isn't a very engaging class to play.

I solo all the time with my battle mage.

Takes me like 15 minutes to go through a dungeon on lunatic mode though. But leveling is fast in this game so it doesn't matter much.

There's no time to socialize in this game anyway since it's an action mmo. If you stop mashing buttons, you're dead. If you ever see that shithead underage fag that idles while you run a dungeon or dies in the 2nd room, just kick him or leave the party

Battle mage is top tier. It can't be considered a mage at all, really. You just steamroll other physical classes(all classes really) with bullshit speed and combos.

Elementalist also has very high potential to do well if you have the right mindset, but they are very frail. You can never be wrong or get caught off-guard or you will die in one, maybe two combos.

Witch is gimmicky, hard to deal with at first, but falls off really sharply at a certain level of play, and they just can't do anything scary anymore.

Summoner steamrolls until the other classes get superarmor skills and just tank her summons, then she drops to bottom tier.

If you are extremely good with timing, then you should play Battlemage.

Arguably the steepest learning curve, but holds the possibility of infinite combos in PvP and is practically designed around combo-ing.

However, it isn't too easy.. I have a Max Level (actually was one of the first 30 mages to reach max level) Bellatrix and am decently skilled. Even so, people in experts PvP will rape your face if you aren't extremely good.

Actually I have a character in almost every subclass, but I have a Nen Master, Soul Bender, Weapon Master, Asura, Monk, Exocist, Witch, Battle Mage...all above lvl 40.

And you can get along fine without joining a /v/ guild, those guys are lame anyway. Hang around and join parties if you want to meet people. About once per real-time week, you'll meet someone in-game who is polite, and good at the game. Friend them, ask to join their guild, etc.

Personally, I have a small group of friends, and we usually play together and help each other out.

Cept the /v/ guild is max level and offers an avatarload's worth of stats just for being a member, as well as exp boosts.

I dunno. A guild's a guild, but a high level guild is an asset.

I personally recommend getting good with an Elementalist. If you can space your opponent out well, you can beat anyone, even a Battle Mage. Just be prepared to play keep away from physical classes (Elementalists get a nice array of spells that'll help for that) and you should dominate all other fights.

Twin Gun Blades is incredibly awesome.
Max level is 50s of 27% evasion, 10% attack speed, super armored moving shot. Got some evasion avatars? Pop a blue bible and you're at almost 100% evasion for a full minute. If you get hit you're super armored anyway. And you get crazy good new skills during it that cost no mana that you spam freely.
The passive awakening is veiled cut. It basically puts a knife in the Franger's boots. Every kick attack gets an additional hit on it that does decent to good damage and has a chance to bleed. Think of it like adding 3-6 levels to every kick skill and a chance to bleed.
