So I go into a restaurant and look at the menu. There's a page layout like:

__________________
Burritos & Tacos
----
----
Sandwiches
----
----
----
* All Items Above come with fries or a salad
Specialties
----
----

And I ask the waiter, "So, do the burritos come with fries or a salad? They are above the notice here..."
"No, only sandwiches."
"Why doesn't the notice just say "All SANDWICHES come with fries or a salad?"

I just don't get stuff like this.

I only eat at Fancy restaurants.

It seems pretty clear to me. Maybe you have autism.

I can't recommend restaurants to amateurs.

Who the hell orders a sandwich with fries?

>> No.6359472

Probably the asterisk thing was below the page or section that had sandwiches on it.

>> No.6359490

>>6359472

It was also below the section that had Burritos in it.

If it said "All items *directly* above...," I'd let it slide.

People working at cheap restaurants may very well overlook syntax errors/grammatical niceties in their menus, either because English isn't their first language or they are just fucking dumbasses.

I also see typos in newspapers and various website columns all the time. It's downright disturbing how many people cannot properly use its/it's, their/there, accept/except etc.

Why not? It's a classic 2 star restaurant combo along with fish and chips.

How is this /jp/ related?

It wasn't a cheap restaraunt. It was an upscale tapas/Southwest fusion place.

Srsly, all the people there were in business wear.

these days everything is /jp/ related

It appears to be a Currybutt spam.

Being reminded of this, I will now post this image. What a glorious day that was.

I hate those kinds of places. I went to P.F. Chang's once and I imagine it's the same sort of thing, only Mexican style.

Deal with it, nerd.

I hate mexican restaurants. And italian

That was a fun night, little did I know that /jp/ would later grow to be like that all day every day.

It's funny because in Mexico nobody sells Burritos and Tacos aren't nothing like the ones in USA.

I guess Mexicans forget how to cook tacos when they cross the boarder to California.
