So /jp/, which was your first visual novel?
Mine would be Ranma ½: Byakuran Aika for the Mega CD, played back when it was released in 1993.
There was a guy who imported Mega CDs and japanese videogames around here, and I got this. I didn't even know Ranma yet, (it was freaking 1993, after all, I was like... 11) and it took me a while to understand that Ranma's hair color changing meant he was becoming a woman. I still finished the game, totally by trial and error. Using Hiryu Shoten Ha in RPS gameplay was pretty epic.
Also, it had some pretty good opening and ending songs.
Does anyone have older stories?
