Is there any reason why Rinnosuke is often depicted as having a hunky physique compared to the other males in Gensokyo?

Oddly enough I can tell the gender of the doujinka by how Rinnosuke is depicted. If he buff then the doujinka is most likely male, but instead if he is like in this pic then the doujinka is female.

I am basing my conjecture on how attractive men are depicted in shoujo as opposed to shounen.

Actually, he's not. Youki and the Great King are both named in the profiles of Youmu and Aya from PCB and MoF. Rinnosuke is the only one with an actual official appearance.

Then again, we don't really know if the Great Tengu is male or not.
