What kind of tea's do you usually drink? How often do you drink it? Also Tea discussion overall.

Earl grey, nothing else.
Haven't had any in a while, in fact I just drank some coffee.

>> No.6341886

Two or three times a day, earl grey. Or other simple stuff, I add regular milk to it sometimes, as well. It's an old habit, and people tend to find it weird for some reason.

Earl grey primarily, although I did just have several chai teas yesterday. I love that somewhat cinammon-y taste it has.

Usually I go with black teas, but I sometimes also go for white teas because they can be so different in flavor than what I'm well adjusted to.

Black tea. Intensive.
About 6-8 cups a day on average. The most I had was about 20 I think (I wasn't using cups so it's hard to say).
I think I got addicted to tea. Which is pretty cool actually. I mean, that's both classy AND hardcore.

I don't drink as much as you, but a tea addiction isn't a bad one. Like you said, it's classy and hardcore ( at least with that amount tea per day)

So I used to have something called "Hong Kong-style" black tea from the local Asian market. Very fine, almost powdery, and very strong black tea. Perfect.

Then they stopped selling it, and the only "black" tea I found is in the pic.

This crap tastes like sewage! I had actually spit it out and looked into the teapot to make sure I didn't just brew some dried-up smelly garbage instead.

Turns out, it's pu-erh tea. Is it supposed to smell like that or did I just get ripped off?

Settling with gunpowder tea for now. Can't stand most of the "mainstream" stuff they sell in teabags (Twinings, Tetley, whatever) - it might as well be just water.

Loose leaf green mixed with dried fruit (papaya, pineapple, orange) and south African herbs.

Steeped at 174 degrees for 60 seconds, 1TBS per 12 oz

Sweetened with 1-3TBS of German rock sugar

$18 for 2 oz, most loose leaf mixes range from 12-18$.

Monkey picked oolong is absolutely amazing, but far more expensive.
