I don't like the lips on the Remy or Youmu (they look great aside from that). There's too much definition, 2d lips are supposed to be practically flat and they look so weird sticking out visibly, like they're pouting or part black or something.

Nonetheless I'm tempted to get one of those Youmus myself, because it's a cool pose and nice little base they got going.

What's really up with Griffon, is that one of their sculptors (Akio Akiyama) VERY often tends to blow, and yet he gets picked a lot to do their work. I'd say i-con is their best even though his work often sucks as well, which doesn't bode well regarding Griffon's overall statue quality.

I'm waiting to see how their Suika, Yuugi and Momiji turn out. I'm also glad they did Yuuka well. The dress is a bit plain in sculpt, but I like the face a lot. I'm also really glad they didn't fuck up Keine. Both of those two don't get much attention, and so it's great that they didn't fail us on doing them proper justice.

Ideally, they should re-do a couple of their bad ones too (they REALLY need a new Reisen, that was an utterly huge disappointment for me).

Just a warning, your Youmu will be bigger than Yuyuko, and not just because of her huge stand-- they're different scales. I don't know if you're picky about having them match, but I figured I'd throw it out there.

As for my opinion, I think the Youmu is nice, but I don't like that Remilia at all.

I don't care about any of that as long as they're well done and aesthetically pleasing. Facial expressions and color choices are more important to me than anything else.
I don't think that some super dynamic action pose always makes for a good figure.

I'm one of the people that prefers Alter's Saber Lily over GSC's, if it's any point of reference.

On that note, I know a lot of people will disagree with me on this, but I don't like the three Saber figures that GSC has most recently put out. They're lacking... something. I love GSC, but it feels like an epic figure for the sake of being an epic figure without any real feeling put into it if that makes any sense.

Remilia feels the same way to me, except she's not even done well.


Really, none of you have to listen to me, I'm VERY picky and highly opinionated when it comes to figures.

Just use amiami for the first time, and sent my first order. The first time my order timed out because I was doing everything slowly and carefully, so the second time I just did the exact same thing except very quickly.

I'm stupid so I though they emptied my shopping cart when I got that timed out error message but of course they didn't. Long story short, I ordered everything x2. I actually think the coloring on her looks just fine. If anything her entire outfit comes of as plainly sculpted and the dress/skirt looks too "flat". The steel on her parasol also looks off, and yes the parasol as a whole looks plain.

What I do like with her is the face, her hair and the hand that's not holding the parasol. Someone might say she looks to "cute" to be Yuuka, but I actually like it. I also like the flower decoration on her skirt.

What can I say, I have her pre-ordered; I have been thinking that I must get this Yuuka ever since she was first announced, and even though I am 100% aware of all her flaws I still want her.

As for Meiling, she has a really good body on her but the face is so derp it hurts to look at. The sculpt for hear head shape and bangs are also awkward.
