An Obsidian-developed sandbox game, on the Gamebryo engine, taking place in Gensokyo.

You explore the many locations of Gensokyo, do quests to gain favor with the various factions, and have glorious danmaku fights.

It culminates in a massive fight to decide the future of Gensokyo, with the various political players vying to come out ahead and you in the middle.

Throughout all this, you meet a cast of colorful characters, drink lots of tea, and seek to complete your collection of spell cards.

An adventure game in Gensokyo, whereby the player assumes the role of an outsider (of their design) trying to find a way home. Yukari is currently asleep and access to her residence is extremely limited, so the players needs to find a way to alert her to the misplacement so the player can be spirited home. By questioning the major and minor players of Gensokyo, acquiring items/reputation/referrals, and outwitting other obstacles through games or trickery, the player will gain session with higher levels of Gensokyo's political realm, eventually leading to Yukari and home.

Example scenarios might include beating Cirno in a game of rock-paper-scissors so she'll give you a copy of Icicle Fall so you can cross a body of water (if you lose you'll need to gather frogs for her in a mini-game), tricking Komachi into throwing coins at you which you then gather and use to distract Reimu while you sneak into her shrine, or gathering ingredients for a dish that will entice Yuyuko to speak with you.

It also means you have to aim at the target instead of holding down attack and hitting the boss from almost anywhere. It doesn't look anywhere near as crazy as danmaku and the boss attacks don't troll you.

Still a nice idea, maybe if they changed it to have more spam to avoid and a more powerful weapon to use.

Commander Shepard has been dragged into Gensokyo. The normandy is undergoing repairs and can't leave yet.

He must explore gensokyo and negotiate with the touhou he encounters. Getting on their good side, doing quests gives +charisma paragon/renegade.

The 3 romance achievs include: Cirno, Youmu & Patchouli.

You must progress through the game and gain entrance to scarlet mansion.

The final boss is Remilia and you must seduce her without her killing you. Only then will she allow you to leave.
