oh yeah, I forgot to mention, its apparently got a 1k image limit on danbooru (maybe others) due to request limits on danbooru's API itself, so you have to do seperate queries of 1k images if you're downloading massive tags

I suppose people are deciding to overlook this because of all the ">", i guess I used it a little more than was acceptable

You've been searching for days for this?
Wow, you suck.

I was searching for the downloader initially about 5 months ago, look at the date on that blog post dimwit.

the alternatives are probably worse so the sentiment still stands

awesome, I used to spend hours downloading images individually, now I can waste my free time in other useless activity.

>green text
is good for highlighting, or making points as well. I don't care if that's not it's intended purpose, or who came up with that usage.

>> No.6301610

green text is used for quoting and cool story telling

>> No.6301613

>>6301603
Have you ever read a textbook that was entirely highlighted? Makes it difficult to read. That's what you are doing. Use it sparingly or don't use it at all. Don't use "my face when" either.

>> No.6301614

Bulk Image Downloader, while not free for the morally inclined, works too

I used to think I really needed this, but then I remembered that I never, ever look at or use 95% of the images I have on my disk.

neither did I, but then I started visiting 4chan

/jp/ isn't a textbook though. And, that colour's not that hard to read, but also makes the text distinct, which is useful when you want to "quote" but also works for paraphrasingand the like. Also it's more convenient than italics and bold if they even exist.

>> No.6301656

Why doesn't it load the pages when I stop scrolling down the bar?

I can't bring myself to read the OP's post (it's not just a meme, people really don't read your post if it's too green) while I can read yours just fine with the bold and italics.

I save them all by hand, because then I only save ones I consider worth saving.

>And, that colour's not that hard to read
It's annoying, unnecessary, distracting and reminds everyone of boards overrun by /b/. Not to mention greentext stories make their author look too retarded to write proper sentences. There's absolutely no reason to use it if you actually want anyone to read your post.

That's a custom theme. Maybe there's a way of setting the >quote colour somewhere.

If you're going to download entire tags, why not just search those tags from time to time and save yourself the hard drive space?

It works nevertheless. There are occasional update problems (usually easymodo related though), but most of the time it displays ghosts and deleted posts properly.

Oh well this thread's convinced me to look at custom style sheets on here.
