I just finished what I believed to be Tsugumi bad-end and good-end today.Well, the bad-end was, bad, I guess. However, what's up with the good-end godfuckingdamnit. My despair turned into rage when Kuranari undoes the outer airlock and ultimately removes himself from the submarine so that it would gain more buoyancy. Fuck man, even back in middle school, I knew that physics doesn't work that way. Sora is the only other character whom interest me, and perhaps Sara, whom I did not get to interact with in Tsugumi's route (dat fucking "Life Reading: 1). Are their routes any less despair and rage inducing?

If taking so much care to have the physics correct and THEN adding some incredible bullshit makes you rage, you will not rage anymore and towards the end, you will start raging incredibly. Loltelomeres make you age therefore regenerating those makes you immortal this makes perfect sense!

Also you'll propably figure out the actual solution by yourself during the second or third route and I can't bring myself to believe that Sora in her and Tsugumi's route did not manage to get this silly easy way herself.

What? No, no one figures out Ever17's solution before Coco's route. You'd have to have been spoiled on information supplied only in that route in order to understand anything about the game.

i feel like trolling thread like these, saying:
"Sara and Kid *** ******, and Tsugumi and Kuranari *** ***** ********"
Read all the visual novel before starting a thread like this, if you received some fucking spoiler from some guy with the same urge of trolling you as me , but not as so kind, it would ruin your experience reading this one, and this one is motherfuckingly shitty if you receive spoilers.

SARA AND KID ARE BROTHER AND SISTER. THEIR MOTHER AND FATHER ARE TSUGUMI AND KURANARI. SORA IS LASER GENERATED ILLUSION. COCO IS THE ONE MAKING "LIFE READING 1" BLICK WINKEL IS THE ONLY ONE WHO STARTED TIMELOOP

Sora route is best route (excluding the final one, duh)
Most sci-fi-ish route and had some romance too, plus it didn't have any secret pasts bullshit like the other routes. I think the only problem most people have with it is that the events that occur in it don't really converge with the events in the final route.

Sora "consciousness" was put into robotic body in 2034. Remember that Sora was with others on that ship at the end

Because if the minisub is big enough to be two-sectional, it should be at least as heavy as your common car. Would you think you can lift any weight from a car by getting out?

It makes me wonder why people discuss realism in fictional work ... Sure, Ever 17 is pretty much little encyclopedia about sea, time and and related things ... but still

>> No.6300953

Yeah i think that too.
Why can't you just take that part as a drama/scene of the a man showing his manliness and love for the girl he loves, and giving his live for hers and that's it?

>> No.6300981

>>6300946
>It makes me wonder why people discuss realism in fictional work

Suspension of disbelief, mostly. I can't enjoy something if I'm forced to keep questioning it, and it's impossible to take a dramatic scene seriously if the cause of said drama is something that anyone with only a high school education would dismiss as ludicrous.

Maintaining verisimilitude is simply one of the most vital things an author has to do.

You couldn't get Blick Winkel final time correction done without certain things of these kind. I'm not sure if his actions do or doesn't break causality in some ways I just don't like nitpicking every detail in fiction unless it's supposed to be realistic in many/all senses.

Well, with that case it really doesn't matter, as Blick Winkel is a fifth-dimensional entity and doesn't give a fuck about the implications of predestination paradoxes. Also, he's the player, and I think all of us just wanted to get it over with at that point.

Can't answer you in that matter, the only thing i hate to see on a protagonist is he being a indecisive pussy or a fucking jerk, kuranari did get in the fucking jerk case only at that time that he keeps spouting that as long as you are alive is okay, he punches Kid and i felt bad for Chami being used by Tsugumi to show him how much of a jerk he was being, that aside i found him being a good character, but Kid is smarter and cooler =D

>> No.6301027

>Blick Winkel is a fifth-dimensional entity and doesn't give a fuck about the implications of predestination paradoxes

Blick Winkel is actually still bound by "laws of time travel". Remember scene where BW "saved" Takeshi and Coco, then BW realized he created paradox and Takeshi rotted away in fast forward while Coco just disappeared. Also BW is "only" four-dimensional entity

>> No.6301031

Right. Blick Winkel can experience five dimensions but he only exists in the fourth. I forgot.

And a predestination paradox isn't the same thing as a grandfather paradox, which is what simply revivig Takeshi would cause. Blink Winkel caused a paradox by giving Youharu information from the future, albiet not one that would cause a continuum-violating contradiction.

The cool part on choosing Kuranari is that his two possible romances are grown and mature woman, and it at somepoint it gets more to romance ( i like that ^^) while Kid don't give much a damn for romance =)

here.
Just finished Sora route, and I wanted to share some thoughts. The despair aside, Sora's route was just as enjoyable, if not more, as Tsugumi's route. I d'awwed multiple times, and shed tears in the last portion of it. I just wish that Kuranari had gone to the security room on zweite stock (after the repair) instead of having gone back to Himmel. He could've accessed Sora's data from those computers as well, right? If so, the plan of flooding drite stock could still have been carried on. Also, cut-paste damnit, why would you copy-paste: I'm sure with some calculation beforehand, the escape operation could have been ran automatically by the computers in Himmel, and 'Sora' as we know her would likely to have escaped with Kuranari, on the TB disk.
Having said that, it still thoroughly enjoyed the route.

Diving into You and Sara's routes next weekend after the midterms. I hope those are a bit more light-hearted.

Sara has the most uplifting ending aside from the final one.
You's ending is hilarious when it's referenced in the final ending "You know, we were going out in a parallel dimension"
