Keeping Schneizel alive had to have been the dumbest move Lelouch could have made.

Even with the Geass in place that guy is slippery as fuck and no doubt with enough time would find ways to subvert his command in order to act on his own while still technically abiding by the conditions of the Geass.

I also don't understand why the Geass remained in place if Lelouch was supposed to be dead. Doesn't that force the end of a Geass if the owner of it is killed?
