You can avoid burning eggs with no butter, but it has to be scrambled eggs and it's going to turn into a broken up lump of eggs that looks less than appealing but is still good.

I made a spicy turkey sausage omlette once and I was so hungry I forgot the butter- the resulting mess literally looked like vomit but it was still a fucking delicious, tasty meal.
