I watch AVGN subbed on nico instead of watching it on gametrailers.

It makes it like a sitcom for me. It's like I have canned laughter to tell me when to laugh.

AVGN is a funny and entertaining reviewer to watch and even though he had his ups and downs he still manages to put out quality vids, or at least above average at best. It's a good thing that he finally stopped with those guests or juvenile jokes and lol so random swearing that cater to his more younger audience. I couldn't care less about his scat fetish.

Where he really shines though is his videos where he talks about his hobbies, as James Rolfe not AVGN. You can see that he's very passionate about what he's doing.

Why would I want to watch some guy talking about video games? He probably only talks about really popular ones, too, it's not like he is going to pull an 8-bit RPG I never played before out and I'm going to say, "oh, my god, I must play this game I didn't know about 13 years ago."

Why is the 「Angry Video Game Nerd」so rude to video games? He is popular person on Nico Nico Douga but I think he is very rude also. I notice he is only rude to Japanese and American games, not Korean. Why? Is he Korean in ancestry?

While in doubt I call him 「Angry Video Game Nida」 because he is prejudiced toward American and Japanese games and not Korean. This is because I think he is rude Korean.

Don't get me wrong, I like him a lot. Plumbers don't wear ties was probably the best vid he put out, but it's way more entertaining if it's just AVGN and the game he's criticizing rather than him doing some skits in costumes while throwing poop at his friend.

In all seriousness, though, AVGN is okay and is something else to watch and burn time once a month. Some episodes are great, while others suffer from too little review, too much skit like remijam had pointed out.
