No-one thinks that Asperger's makes you special on /jp/. *not* having Asperger's makes you special on /jp/.

Also, I'm convinced that 99% of the people who complain about over-diagnosis of Asperger's have been diagnosed with it themselves and want to convince themselves that they are one of the misdiagnosed.
