ggs, but really, if you want to play the whole cast, show the cast some respect and try to learn them, I guess flowcharting and jumping around works well enough against someone who can't move properly, but I'd imagine you want to be able to play against someone better too someday, I've played with you several times and no matter which character I play, you always keep doing the same patterns, over and over again. But I guess if you have fun enough doing it, you can continue with that line, but the random flowchart images you see around are not necessarily the best guidelines on how to play the characters

The only way this could work is if the packets containing the "controls" were automatically filtered. Anything more than that and the connection would simply die. I haven't analyzed the packets being sent out during a game because I don't play this bad game but I really doubt the controls are different enough from normal packets to be effectively filtered out.

Don't let it get you down, Eli. It's the best way to learn. That's what happened to me when I used to host soku, and I think it helped me get better much faster than I would have.

I guess more than your relative lack of combos and being very uncomfortable in the corner (whether attacking or defending), but the biggest thing is that felt like you were just throwing stuff out for the sake of throwing it out, instead of having any real method behind it. Bullets are good pokes, but you're also supposed to use them as a set up to eat up both of your opponent's air dashes and close-in. Alternatively, catch them chicken blocking and then get them with an air-unblockable (such as 66C). I don't really know what else to say, I'm really bad with this stuff and probably sound really arrogant and dumb, sorry.

If you don't already, try really observing your opponent and throw bullets where he's going to go, so that when he gets there he has to potentially dash into aerial melee, or block, thus eating some spirit and getting rid of one of his flights/dashes. Watching and learning your opponent is very important.

I'd tell you to stop airteching and chickenblocking so much but I couldn't really punish you for it. You always cancel a 3/6A with B bullets so I was able to jump out of the corner for free after I blocked one of them. You did a good job of mixing it up by throwing out bullets after a series of 2/4As but you eventually fell back into your old routine. Also, you should start using 5AAAA 214C x3 as a midscreen combo instead of just a dial-a-combo.

Haha, I prefer the Reimu vs Youmu matchup actually. It's one I have a lot of experience with, and there is less worry about making a landing compared to your Sakuya. I'm happy that I was able to swing the matches back by being much more defensive, although I don't think people like playing that way.

5AAAA into Rekka over Dial-A isn't worth it without upgrading its level for more damage first. I'll have to build a new deck with them for next time.

I was trying out a new combo suggested to me earlier in the first few matches but you still got me good in the other ones. You're a lot harder to beat now and I have to watch my teching. There was some hilarious moments in those matches, my favorite of which was your super long youmu system card chain into the super kick for incredible damage. The last round of which it seemed you were just slightly short of casting the final spell card and we just stood there looking at each other. Also the 5 card runpast vs your 5 cost counter punch I lost sight of my character in the resulting explosion. I also noticed you border escape a LOT, which is tough getting used to haha. Good games Aki. A shame the last few games became nearly unplayable because of that lag, I don't know what happened, it was just fine at the beginning. You're getting better at waiting for the opponent to commit mistakes and run away all the while, and I do commit a lot of mistakes when I try to corner an opponent. Uh, try this out, 5aa (may use fear to insert 6c) j9 j6a j2c (if they start grazing get them to fear it with rocket dive) f2 5aa etc you can always alternate a random 5a into a guard crush, also, still hosting, gosh.

As far as blockstrings go, start with something simple like 5aa 5b j2a j2b D3 repeat. Once you've got that down, throw in a 3a, 2a or 6a after the 5aa. Just mess around a bit in practice mode and you'll find something that works for you.
