Guys, I started working on this Touhou music video. I pretty much have all of the scenes thought out already, but I can't decide what art style I should use.

I really want to use ZUN art, but I'm afraid it would just be like copying kamS.

So should I draw in generic anime style, or in ZUN style?

ZUN style. It's not like KamS owns it.

Just because you are using ZUn style doesn't mean it has too look exactly like KamS.

Try a different coloring/shading style, and try to have frame by frame animation, KamS doesn't use that. Also, KamS's most famous characteristic beyond the ZUN art is surreal/trippy content. Unless you are going for that as well I don't see how people would call you a rip off.

What. OP is making his own music video as far as I understand it. You are aware that the people who make music usually have others make the music video right? Also, since when is using Touhou characters or a certain style a direct rip off? The same could be said for all the artists out there making generic anime-art that looks exactly the same.
