I'd adopt Kaguya and pat her head every day.

>> No.6174170

Kaguya is the only Touhou that deserves to starve and rot and die.

>> No.6174168

Why does an immortal NEET need to eat?

>> No.6174173

Is that Mokou's corpse in the trash up the street? And someone else in front of her?
What'd they do? Kill each other, get thrown in the trash, and reincarnate there?
Or maybe Kaguya is just looking for Eirin's corpse too.

>> No.6174174

>>6174168

Technically she doesn't, but that doesn't mean it's enjoyable not to eat.

Mokou detected

>Is that Mokou's corpse in the trash up the street?

Looks like Momiji.

>And someone else in front of her?

Looks like Aya.

The other body looks like Meiling.

>>6174176
I'm seeing Momiji, but not as a corpse.

She is immortal in that she won't die from not eating (or if she does she'll just rez.) Doesn't mean going hungry will suck any less. Same with freezing, burning, and other fun stuff.

What if you seal her in a block of concrete?

>> No.6174222

>>6174212

Depends on the interpretation of their reincarnation.

A favored idea is that they can recreate their body from scratch, which they would immediately do OUTSIDE the concrete.

>> No.6174225

Concrete can't contain Kaguya's power.
She could blast a bank and steal money if she wanted to get food anyway. Or just rob a grocery store.
What's the worst that could happen?
She gets shot and dies?

>> No.6174237

She should just become a prostitute.

Think about it. Good looks. Sassy attitude. Also reincarnating into a clean slate, so she has no STDs and is tight as fuck (lol hymen.)

She could make a pretty good living.

>> No.6174254

its hard to know whats going on in this picture outside of the fact that kaguya is a hobo.

My favorite theory so far is that humanity finally discovered some metal or something which is deathly to yokai reducing them to the lowest caste, with not many sympathizers.

>> No.6174255

>>6174153
Wow, talk about nostalgia, I remember seeing this picture before knowing what Touhou was and wondering what the hell I was looking at. Anyways, the outside world is simply not a place for frilly dresses and hats so I can't help but feel sorry for Kaguya, the rest however are youkai scum so I don't give a fuck about them.

I think you mean immortal LUNARIAN. Because she came from the MOON. Like other LUNARIANS.

Lunarians are humans, you idiot. They're just not Terrans.

Same species, different celestial object.

>> No.6174273

Well that really depends on the criteria you use to define a species.
Also, thanks for reminding me about my anthro test you asshole.

No, I said that whether or not Lunarians are human really depends on the criteria you use to define a species.

At best you could identify them as a tangent species. (Homo sapiens lunaria?)

>> No.6174294

Does she share characteristics with humans?
Can Kaguya breed with humans?
That's good enough for biology if so.
Of course if you use the biological definition then Kaguya may not even qualify as alive if she can't reproduce.
I'd be willing to volunteer myself as her experimentation partner.

I see it as if Gensyoko had collapsed upon itself, sending its survivors to drift in a cold heartless world that abhors their very existence. Yes, their existence is maintained, but the sights and sounds that flourished in the unnatural withered away when they became slaves to logic and scientific law.

More like after Gensokyo collapses and Kaguya and Mokou are expelled back to our reality to watch humanity die, leaving the two of them to watch the cosmos decay around them. They grow lonely at first, and then reliant on each other to maintain sanity through violence, passion, or sometimes both.
Some untold eons pass before an alien species finds the two of them and takes them aboard, their existence alternating between spectacle in an alien zoo and test subject in alien laboratories. Yet endlessly they reincarnate in their purgatory.
One day the opportunity to escape presents itself, and the two hijack two alien ships and escape, making a pact with each other that that will find some way to go back in time and kill each other before either becomes immortal.
The following space opera is the last tale of human legend, romance and adventure.

Not just breed. According to the biological species concept, they must be able to breed, breed under natural circumstances, and produce fertile offspring. For the same reason a liger or tigon is not considered a biological species, a Lunarian should not be considered human because of the nigh-intractable distance between us. Even then, since Lunarians are so far away from us, their genotypes may have become radically different from ours, to the point where reproduction will not work as it should.

Kind of looks like a more darker version of Gensoukoumuten's Touhou universe in which Gensyoko reappears in the outside world.

>> No.6174340

I always imagine that when Gensokyo collapses and whatever happens next to the earth would probably be something like Hokuto no ken. With Youkai as the enemies a lone boy must defeat so he can find the Shrine Maiden.

To be fair, iirc this is a setting where humans can hybridize with both monsters and ghosts, I don't think "people, but from the moon" are a problem in comparison.

>> No.6174537

>>6174522

No, there is no implication that Half-Youkai and Half-Ghosts are literally biologically 50% hybrids.

It's implied Half-Youkai are otherwise-normal humans in the transitional period from Human to Youkai.

Half-Ghosts seem to be humans who's soul isn't located within them. That's all.

The way it looks to me is that Aya is mugging Momoji in the darkened corner.

This is what capitalism will do to Gensoukyo.
