hey /jp/,

I'd love to order a whole set of these (the one pictured is the 4th series, coming out next month or so), but paletweb is being a bitch that overcharges for everything ($13 each? fffffuck). Are there any other sites that sells these for a much more reasonable price?

>> No.615779

How tough are figurines anyway? I've never had or touched one, but in Genshiken they made a big deal about them breaking easy and people always lock them up in glass, so...
Are they 7 year old friendly? It might be neat to get my niece one for her birthday.
Any good Tewi ones? She likes pink.

These are keychains.

The only touhou figures available are the vinyl Cirno/Reisen ones on Toranoana, and resin kits you build yourself. Unless you want to spend $300 to $600 on YAJ buying completed resin kits.

Figures won't break if you aren't an idiot. There are certain things you can do to keep them in good condition (glass cases, proper cleaning and care), though.

Are figurines tough though? It doesn't have to be Tonka tough playtrucks or something, but can they take some wear and tear?

>> No.615825

Oh, and glass cases aren't really necessary (unless you need them to save room, such as an ikea tower case). Just dust the figures every so often with a can of compressed air. Never, ever use a damp washcloth or anything involving fluids, the figures will eventually become brittle.

Depends. My Ignis figure from Max Factory has a flaw in that it doesn't sit on the base correctly. Before I fixed it, it fell 9 or 10 times on its face when I tried to get it to stand properly. Took no damage or scratches, and it was falling on hard wood.
