Today i want to shatter the Myth that everyone on /jp/ is a lolicon and possible pedophile.
It is a wrong believe that more people here take a liking to young girls than to grown up women. This is like to say, there are only hikkis here and not many normal people.
Sure we have many people who like their lolis but they are NOT in the majority. Plus, i would say most like lolis and mature women. The best of both worlds.

And it's true they are a minority most of the time. This is as in, seriously loli completely undeveloped.. you only see threads about ones that are not in a grey area (like Rika) maybe once or twice a day or so.

It seems that the sweet spot lies in a biological age between 13-17ish for many here (which is NOT pedophilia, it's ephebophilia, get it right), which is actually what men are naturally programmed to go for.. aka almost all men are in some way perverts from US law's standpoint, because nearly all hetero men at some point really get raunchy over what counts as jailbait whether in 2d or 3d form. There is of course variance in instinct. For example, some people have the willpower to overcome even the instinct to go eat or sleep, such as demonstrated by the various Koreans/Chinese that have literally died from playing Starcraft, WoW, Diablo II etc because they overcame their natural urges. However, these people tend to get selected out of the gene pool for obvious reasons, which streamlines what the basic guideline instincts are for us... which is why the majority of males are hetero and do not go on murderous rampages daily etc. It's good that there's variance, because if some kind of weird hangup/catch22 ended up being a really bad thing for EVERYONE who acted in a certain way, we'd be fucked as a species.
