Went and got parking permit for uni. They were out of permits for the good zones and so I got a remote lot permit.. cheaper, but I have to take the damn shuttle to actually get to where I want to go on campus. Confirmed I have a slow leak in one of my tires. All in all, god fucking damn it.

Then went shopping and bought like 5 Mary Celestes and a bunch of Annie's mac and cheese. Haven't eaten any after I got home though, wasn't really hungry. I guess I will eat some crackers and then go practice/warm up on Soku and then play people here for a while. Then sleep.

I might try that at some point. I've done some in the past and the response was pretty positive. I'll start a thread where /jp/ers can request short stories about Gensokyo and I'll write them. Two rules:

1. No sex. We Touhous are pure.
2. No CYOAs. I'd prefer to keep stories to a few posts at most, and CYOAs are overplayed anyways.

It's of course a nagging concern of mine that I won't be able to get a job when I graduate. But as a molecular biologist in the Bay Area I think I'll be alright. But still it's chilling hearing about stuff like this.

Also with a 4.0 you could go to grad school easy. They'll pay you a stipend and/or give you some crappy assorted jobs, but after a few years you'll have a better position since you will have gotten your foot in the door of whatever field you're looking at.

I go to boot camp in november, so not yet. I was basically exactly that, physically, but I did a lot of preparation while I was going through the processes.

I would suggest running every morning. I have a 2 mile plot around my neighborhood that I run daily, and thanks to that pt never really killed me.

That's what I've been told. I need to go back to find out exactly what I'm supposed to be turning in. Chances are I'll be NEETing it up right along with you after I graduate this semester unless the job market for engineer draftsman suddenly becomes good again. 2 1/2 years ago I was practically guaranteed a job as an offshore piping draftsman with a minimal starting wage of $30 an hour with overtime. Now, I'm seeing senior engineers who are three times my age, with years of experience, coming back to school and taking the same classes as me because they are out of a job and want to raise their value as an employee.
Makes me wonder how the hell a rookie like me is supposed to find a job when those who have been in the business for decades can't even keep them.
