I think I'd have a better chance of my suggestion here than on /a/.

Basically, Reimu redone as a Knight templar (red/white) and Marisa as a knight hospitalier (black/white)

Sorta in the same way this pic of viking cirno with her color scheme and patterns, but with clean shaven heroic knights like you'd see in Arthurian legends.

I would like to see Umineko's Asmodeus of Lust dressed up as a sexy school teacher. She should be sitting provocatively on her desk, legs crossed and pointer resting across her lap, with the words SEX ED on the chalkboard behind her.

If necessary, throw in the other stakes, Sakutarou, Battler, Ange, and/or Furudo Erika as students (Sakutarou would just be innocently confused by the whole thing and asking questions like a good student, Ange would be beet red with embarrassment, Erika would be hitting on Battler and trying to get him to "study" with her, Battler's PO'd and declaring the stakes aren't real, ergo their breasts are fake, and the stakes would be acting out their respective sins). If Bernkastel, Lambdadelta, Beatrice or Virgilia are included in the picture, I request they be acting as assistants, and not looking pleased about the whole thing (aside from Lambdadelta, who is looking at Berkastel with a predatory grin and a bit of drool hanging from her mouth. Zepar and Furfur would be preaching about the joys of sex in a theatrical manner.

Work here only gets as exclusive as delivering custom-made requests. Most of the other artists here also maintains either a pixiv, deviantard and/or danbooru tag . Now see, I have no problem with either Touma or Hokuto, but Shouta is stepping all -over- Makoto's territory. It's just not cool. I sketched this up feeling kinda salty about Namco giving him that kind of personality to go with the overlap.

On a sidenote, if there is no personal showdown between Makoto and Shouta in the game, I will be disappointed.

I'm creative and artistic since I was a child, but I wasn't too serious with art till high school. I took a year of art in my junior year, fell in love with it, and went for another year. I loved it so much, I'm currently a fourth year art major. Most shits they teach you are fundamental stuff you can learn from reading a book or some online tutorials, but being in a class motivates you to work and practice; imo that's the key.

tl:dr Practice, tons of it. I was crappy back then, now I'm semi crappy. In a few years, I hope I'll be decent.

i started when i was like 7 or less, and after i hit puberty i needed fap material. but since back then internet didn't exist, and after it was made you couldn't find shit on it i had to draw my own porn, since i was into 2d porn from the beginning.

This is nice, please do more pictures like it. I like pictures that have a total setting, doesn't matter if it isn't finely detailed. A rough background is better than a "perfect" bland picture of some character just standing.

Even better is when you make a picture that tells a story. Even if they are not highly detailed, they are always more interesting than "better" drawn pictures that have nothing going on. I'm looking at 95% of you artists.

I've been drawing since I was a kid and I'm not that great, so there's a little more to it than that. You have to have talent, and there has to be breadth to your repetition. But I agree 10000% that practice is the key to making oneself less crappy.

If there's one thing I really regret about my youth, it's not being seriously interested in art earlier. I had so much time and so many resources available to me in highschool that it would have been a perfect time to immerse myself in learning. I tried to be, but it just didn't click.

personally i don't think talent has anything to do with it. Its all about learning how to utilize your brain correctly, i couldn't draw anything until i had read through "Drawing on the right side of the brain". The initial drawings made me cringe but after working through the book i could actually draw recognizable things.

I'm not saying that good artists don't work hard, and I'm not saying that you can't get anywhere if you feel you're starting at zero... but I do believe that some people just have an instinct. There are artists who have solid anatomy and gesture, and their art looks fantastic, yeah. But then there are those artists whose figures have life. Or whose color choices are so brilliant that you have to boggle at how the fuck they thought of that. Yes, art can be learned! I agree with you that we can all learn to draw something cool if we put enough guts into it, but to be a truly amazing artist I think you have to have a knack for it (and work really fucking hard at it). Like any other pursuit, really.

Same. I try to write songs simply for my own enjoyment, and to pass a few of the the infinite NEET hours. Seeing the effort /jp/ puts in to creating in these threads really motivated me to do the same.
