Don't rush it, take it easy and enjoy at your level, and slowly get better! Don't be in such a rush to unlock everything. In some games you can see the ending on Easy mode too.

Phantasm really isn't that bad unless you downloaded a score.dat file and didn't try to beat Extra.

Phantasm only took me literally two tries to learn and beat because I spent so long learning Extra and the two are so similar.

For some reason mid bosses tend to rape me in extra. Usually helps to drop 2 bombs or so to get past, but I dislike being forced to bomb at the middle of a stage because I can't manage to beat a pattern.

Learn to bomb when in danger.
Wasting a bomb is much better than not using them because of you don't use them and then die you will waste ALL of your remaining bombs

I'm not the OP, but i just suck at Danmaku and i always wondered if there was anything like a program/cheat that allowed savestates on touhou. Hell, if i was given a save state at each level completed i wouldn't mind replaying the same stage over and over. But going over the first 3 levels of any touhou game just to get to the part where i start sucking? After a while it really annoys me (I PLAY IT FOR THE PLOT, HEH)
