I would get a western one because it's hard to even know what the fuck you're getting out of the Japanese dolls because of the censorship laws.

Many of the cheaper dolls nowadays are cheap polyurethane foam with a latex/vinyl skin. It's fucking terrible because they just -squish- in your hands and the seams are rough and can rub you raw. They're only good for modeling and that's it.

I never liked the realdoll. Aside from the hollow breasts the faces just looked way too corpselike for my taste.

Of all the western manufacturers, I wanted a Mechadoll. I actually considered buying one of the new ones with heating because of a price cut on the US website, but as you can probably tell, I prefer to research what I buy. It seems that there's a dispute between the production and the distributors. Everyone seems to agree that Yves Baer is an amazing artist, but when and if he actually makes the dolls is up in the air. The US website claims that it's the distributors fault but Dollforum.com claims that it's Yves Baer and the US website owner scamming people for as long as they can.

Typically their genitalia are removeable and replaceable; you need to be able to take them out in order to wash them anyways. Just find an onahole you like and you're good.
