According to those tips, Zepar "preys upon" boys, while Furfur "teaches them the taste of flesh". If we take the most common sex practices into account, this strongly suggests that Zepar is the male. But.. What if that's just what they want us to believe? Is it foreshadowing or a red herring?

Does anyone else think Yuki Matsuoka would do a good job voicing Zepar and Furfur if there's ever a drama CD or something else that would require them to be voiced? (I suppose Alchemist's remakes would count for that as well, though only a miracle would allow for another anime season, and only a miracle of miracles would cause it to be animated by a company other than DEEN and be directed by someone other than Chiaki Kon.)

My money's on Zepar being a tomboy and Furfur being the trap.

One would assume that as a trap, you're supposed to act as feminine as possible along with appearing feminine. I think this is one of those trademark R07 Red Herrings, right outta Rokkenjima's own waters.
