So, this past summer I spent my vacation visiting family in Ethiopia. For the most part, it was a pretty terrible trip. No access to 2D for two months was pretty rough. However, since my relatives are pretty rich by African standards, I did get to be served by maids: a deaf 20-some year old and a 16 year old who looked 10.

These maids served me my meals for the day, would do my laundry, and wake me up in the morning, among other things. They were friendly people, although I couldn't speak much at all of the local language. And not having to do any work at all was pretty nice.

Does anyone else in /jp/ have any experience with maids?

My family had three different maids while I was growing up.

The one that was around when I was an infant was a 20-something woman. The one that was around when I was a child was a women my mother's age, probably 35 or so. The one we had until I was 15 was an immigrant women who was probably over 50.

All I can say about maids is it would have been awesome had that maid order been reversed.

As for maids, I've never experienced maid service, but I'm making quite a buck now, so I guess I could consider some maid service. Then again, my house is pretty immaculate. Maybe pay here to dust my figurines?

Twice. Once was the 'realistic' old maids. She basically ignored me, and answered only in short or one word sentences. My grandmother says she's always been like this.

The other the lolis. I treated these like if they were my sisters. I think they really liked me.

I had maids growing up as my extended family was quite wealthy.

They were all middle aged eastern European women who were only so so at their job.

It's like how people who have little sisters never have a sister fetish. Maids are ruined forever for me.

I love garlic. Was all of the food heavy in flavor like that? Because overwhelmingly strong flavor is just my cup of tea.

My favorite dish is kitfo, heavily buttered and spiced minced raw meat. It's pretty great, even despite the occasional food poisoning.

I live in a place called Atlantis, I'm not sure if you guys heard of it or not.

Anyway, so I grew up in a pretty wealthy family. See, the king of this place is actually my grandfather. So I guess I'm kinda royalty, but we have really long life spans, so I won't be getting the crown any time soon.

Anyway, I have maids come in all the time to clean the water around me, serve me my food, wake me up, etc.

They're pretty nice. One of them is 56 and looks 10, the other actually is 10 and looks like she's 5.

The other day one of their shell tops got stolen by my pet Angler Fish. She came running into my room covering herself and asking me to get it back for her, since my pet only listens to me.

But then she realized that she rushed into my room topless and quickly left saying she was sorry. To make up for it she said she'd take one request from me that doesn't fall under her job description.

Shit will be so cash when I ask her to scrub my scales.

But one thing that sucks is that there's always this old bitch trying to sneak into our place to steal my grandfather's treasured golden fork or something. Dunno what's the big deal about it. I'm about to just give it to her so she can leave me the fuck alone.

I was once in a band and on tour in Florida.

We stayed with one of the guitarist's rich uncles who had maids. THey didn't speak any English and I got up lost and confused where I was and tried to get directions from them to where the bathroom was.
