Speaking as someone who studied actual Norse Mythology, a number of their goddesses were unhesitant about getting their bones jumped.

As a matter of fact, the gods and goddesses slept around with quite a few beings, so we know that sex was no big deal, in similar vein to the Greco-Roman pantheons and their sexual escapades..

Speaking of this, I've read that they - with the exception of Skuld, who moonlights as a Valkyrie - appear as old hags. Not in the sense of /jp/'s terminology, but bent-backed, wizened old crones. But I wouldn't rely on that, if I were you. Other sources say only Urd is that old, others say they're all equally old, so yeah.

Also, they behaved nothing like the Norns in AMG! do. The real Verthandi, Urdr, and Skuld couldn't give two shits about your well-being.

They are interested in things as they are. And if things as they are happen to include your demise, well, tough tomatoes.
