after watching probably too many live performances of h!p and other jpop singers, i have to say that ai is at the top of the industry for both singing and dancing. she is talented but she clearly works really hard. the girl has to work for her body (which has varying body fat levels throughout the years). she seems to put a large amount of effort into dancing. as for singing, there is no way she can be that consistent without hundreds of thousands of hours put in on her own. ai seems like a somewhat clueless, not as bitchy, not slutty maki. before maki turned avex slut, i have to say she was the most impressive member of mm. the joke of maki saving mm is probably not too far from the truth.

They managed to get partial hosting duties so they did something along with Musume & S/mileage who had already been scheduled to perform.

I was raging pretty hard before the last sequence but the stories about the handicapped girl, Hiroshima survivors and those two dudes reuniting at the end really cut through those feelings, like I said, it really an odd combination of images and people together.

On the 28th it was announced that a new song that has been playing in the sushi chain based in Osaka "Kura Corpo", has become a hot topic in the internet, and will appear on a CD. Music producer Tsunku (41) was in charge of "Appare Kaiten Sushi!", which will go on sale on October 27th. To spread the sushi culture around the world a new female idol unit will be born, called "Muten Musume". (You can expect them, but) who could be the members!?

Japan wants to tell the world about one of their prides, food culture, with a song! This big concept was known since the 13th, where the song "Appare Kaiten Sushi" started to be played in the Kura Corpo stores.

♪ osushi ga naze suki ka, otona ni wakarukai? zarya sugu taberarete, sugu ni manpuku...

An up-tempo song, with friendly lyrics/phrases, is featured for the chain based in Osaka. It's a friendly song for people from adults to children.

On every Kura Corpo store, people were asking things like "What is that song?", "Who is singing it?". And it became a hot talk on internet as well. The name of the mysterious unit has been revealed and it's "Muten Musume".

With the "pressure" (in a good sense) of the voices that talked about the song so much, and the girls wearing veil, it's been decided that a CD will be released. There's still 2 months to go until it goes on sale, but the members/reality of the unit has been revealed. Wherever you listen to the singing voices (of that song), since the group's name has "Musume" in the end of it, it means it's produced by Tsunku, and that it's related to the popular idol group Morning Musume.

This project came to life since the very beginning of this year. The sushi chain shop is related to/depends on producer Tsunku. His "treasured child" Momusu is excluded from this promotion, and it's been decided that it will "Muten Musume" who does all the (promotional) activities (related to this song).

I still find her interest in the language to be an incredibly endearing trait though, of course. Hopefully someday she'll have the chance to study abroad somewhere like Mako did and get a lot better.

To be fair, do you think the Pandas had the time to study Japanese or English. It is a matter of whether she truly wants to learn the mechanics or just learn buzz words or phrases.

I agree it is really endearing but as the scoreboard at the end demonstrated, she is on a low tier of English comprehension.

I also hope that Ai-chan if in the distant future wishes to study further comes to the U.S. to do so. Kago has become really good with English, probably with all her L.A. time and we all know how stupid she is.

Actually, pretty sure I remember JunJun saying she studied English when she was in China. So, in Japan? No. I'm going to assume it was the same for LinLin.
It is, of course, possible that I misheard...but don't forget that JunJun joined MM when she was like 19, already done with high school with plenty of time outside of the idol world to study. I'm not sure how good the English language studies in China are, but from what I know of how that works in Japan the pandas had an upper hand with English from the start.

Still, I'll agree that Aichan clearly has only learned phrases rather than actual sentence structure, etc. But I'll give her the benefit of the doubt that, if she had the time, I feel she'd learn the language better.

Honestly there is a pretty deep discussion interwoven into this conversation. Especially when you bring the expectations and punishment that the pandas went through learning Japanese and still are punished for messing up words.

Obviously those are different situations but underneath the surface you can see the hypocrisy of how Japanese people are often god awful in learning other languages and are expected to be given a pass.

I'm glad that people enjoyed Aika's role in that episode,
honestly the episode was pretty much an absolute joke in terms of story. There was actually around 2 minutes of plot progression.

That being said, the series did have a type of zainyness that I've really came to enjoy.

As for Aika's performance, I'm not going to go on some sort of rant because honestly it is so hit or miss with some of these 2 page long scripts but it was a pretty sophisticated performance.

Watching her on Bijo and listening to her on Star Digio you know things are moving and clicking in her head quickly, she just needs the right platform and chemistry to bring it out.

From the episodes I've seen, it tends to fall under the Downtown DX style now with a panel segment everyweek, but I haven't seen too many episodes and it jumps around a lot. But the boy bands are definitely still there.

To each his own, of course...Aika always looks cute, but I'm more of a 'hair down' guy in general.

And yeah, natural color is always nice. Although I have to admit that I usually prefer Aichan with dyed hair than straight black (although black is, of course, great as well).
I'm more picky about length/style than color anyway. I've said this before, but her hairstyle now is my favorite of all the ones I've seen on her. So full and beautiful~

So in an interesting move, AKB48 member Kasai Tomomi has been cast as the voice of the ancient princess Digimon, Bastemon. She will make her first appearance in a one hour special airing of episodes 10 and 11 on September 14th at 19:00 (UTC + 9). To anyone keeping score, this serves as the second link between Kamen Rider W and season six, same writer and an actress from the same show.

Does anyone have any particular lines in songs that just make your heart melt, or you just cherish so so much? For me, I always look forward to Johnson and Mikitty's lines in Koe when they sing:
