Umineko was a bad source material. Ep6 and Ep7 is a proof of that, it was already going downhill fast, DEEN just decided to roll the ball earlier.

I can be hard on Deen as much as I want because they also made Fate/Stay night that sucked and Higurashi that sucked and few other series that were dull beyond everything seen before. Tenshi no Tamago, Urusei Yatsura, Utena, ROD, Kenshin, Patlabor - but its long gone. Now they make lolis killing lolis and similar abominations without any base in original source. FSN also sucked because it had terrible pacing, forced scenes and awful animation with exception of like two scenes.

i have to disagree, i felt that Ep5 was incredibly shitty at times (Natsuhi development was good, but getting used to Erika and all ...), but Ep6 is surprisingly good, despite ShKanontrice.

I don't think source material matters altogether too much. Nasu pretty much said that he was unsatisfied with a lot of what he wrote in KnK (unsurprising, this was what he wrote 15 years ago), and though many of the ideas are salient, they would not have been coherent without a lot of work. The series was definitely tightened up and polished between the novel and the movies, whereas the opposite trend occurred for Umineko.

I don't think the japanese hold the Tsukihime anime as lowly as us to warrant an remake, but if one come to be, I want it in omnibus format, like Amagami SS.

There is a whole fucking lot of overlapping in between the routes in Tsukihime, so I think it would work if they make each arc with only the good, exclusive shit to each route.

What I hate most about Deen is theri aproach to pretty much everything - they put as few money as they can into new franchise making something almost unwatchable and than, when it miraculously proves succesful they start throwing money away on stupid things like Blu-ray release (I still dont know why Umineko got BD release when it was that terrible). Paradoxly they put even less money to already succesful franchises because they are already successful - so they will earn enough even when it sucks completely.
