I just started watching this drama called "Nihonjin no Shiranai Nihongo" and while the acting itself is pretty terrible, it does have its funny moments.

I wish I could be as awesome as Jack-san.

You are watching that RAW?

And how come so many new female roles all make sneering faces and act like hussy bitches?

It's about a model who decides to become a teacher, and she ends up having to teach Japanese to a bunch of foreigners.

No subs.

I really like how the Chinese guy they got has that stereotypical mouth structure with the top teeth resting over the lower lip.

Yes. Yes it is.

The one episode I watched was pretty retarded, filled with over used character types and filled with stereotypes, the girl is an insufferable bitch too

Expecting /jp/ to watch raw j-dramas- A little chuckle for today

I started a Japanese class a few days ago and one of the guys in there already knows Japanese. He's a stereotypical foreigner. Long nose, light hair and green or blue eyes. Him and the teacher were conversing in Japanese before the class and when the teacher asked where he studied Japanese, he said Japan. Why would you take a class if you already know Japanese?

Did you actually read it?

At least in America, it's because people spend their money for an "easy A" rather than try to learn something new and take the risk of failing.

He probably just wanted a certificate that says he knows Japanese. Maybe for work reasons.
