Okay /jp/ tell me why is the majority of hikkikomoris are male,you know people that shun the real world and trap them selves in a room playing games and MMOs and Anime/manga all day.
Fearing the outside.

What is so attractive to females in the real world, why don't they retreat into a fantasy world as much as we do? I don't get it? Is it their brains, or outside stimuli? Do they know that no matter what happens there will always find a man no matter how ugly/horrid or fat they are?

I mean generally, girls don't play games or immerse them selves in things as much as males do.

It's easier for females to fit in the "how a woman should be" image according to society, so most of them don't really develop social anxieties.
Whereas there's lots and lots of males that don't recognize themselves in the "how a male is supposed to be" image, and for the majority of them this is an issue.

Strong female: ok
Weak female: still ok in most cases, unless you're really ugly
Strong male: ok
