A servant must not be chosen by the author as the culprit. This is begging a noble question. It is a too easy solution. The culprit must be a decidedly worth-while person — one that wouldn't ordinarily come under suspicion.

EP3 1st twilight is one of the easiest puzzles to solve. Two solutions even:

a) It was pretend play. 'Erika of EP3' went around and re-killed them, she had a master key and key to the first room. In last room she let in a wolf who killed her, closed room with her master key and pretended to find it next to the body later.

b) Same as above without pretend play stuff, Erika = culprit, wolf - another faction member.

Even if magic scenes didn't happen, it's still the same character involved in them, they wouldn't be able to act in that scene in a way that their character wouldn't be able to act, they wouldn't say things that their characters wouldn't say. George being dedicated enough to Shannon to kill others is canon. Whether this actually has any significance is up for discussion.
