I wish they would just give us the real fucking reason instead of feeding us this bullshit.

Tsunku gives no reason publicly for firing the pandas, and then him and UFA feed out some bullshit about Eri having a skin problem so that is why she is graduating. Almost everyone that develops Atopic dermatitis does when they are really young. Also, it does NOT all of a sudden get worse when you get older, it is actually worse when you are younger.

I wish I went to that AX panel with tsunku last year, and I would have said to him "grow some balls and give us the real reason when you fire or graduate someone". I kinda understand a little if the reason will severely "ruin" the image of her, but you can at least be vague about it instead of just feeding us complete lies.

I think you need to cool off a bit and stop feeding into a one sided and unconfirmed notion you are having. I'm not saying there isn't truth to your response just that like I said earlier, Eri's graduation revolved around a number of factors. If you evaluate Eri's complete time with Musume I think you come to understand that it was time for her to move on.

Now is it 100% the truth of the situation? Probably not, but think of what is going on in Eri's mind, I believe at the end of the day she may really consider it in the best interest of her health.

As for the pandas, I sort of explained earlier. But it does seem a little strange timing especially for JunJun who was really beginning to fit in and was a fun spirit and force within the group.

But when Tsunku decided to graduate Koharu last year, the graduation schedule was opened up a bit and it's not surprising Tsunku would announce the ending of the visiting class.

I'm not going to say Linlin & JunJun failed because I think they were able to branch Musume out and connect to a broader range of fans around the world. It may haven't resulted in a huge sales boost but they served the job well and opened up Musume to a progressive model.

But at the same time it was clear that the Chinese girls were going to need time to achieve acceptance and demonstrate their true selves in front of Japanese audience. In my heart they succeeded but it was Japan who stubbornly resisted for a whole host of reasons both justified and unjustified.

I'm just saying you guys need to understand that there can be grey zones and multiple reasons for a graduation. We all knew that one of the long running members was going to graduate, I believe even Reina in a blog post reacted that she thought it would be Eri to graduate and that was well before the rumors.

As most decisions are, the reason to kill the pandas was probably financial. The buffer of money they had from the golden era is most certainly gone, and they tried to make up for it by massively increasing the number of concerts over the past few years.

They probably took a look at their budget sheets and saw they were massively in the hole, and then said "who can we fire but still not lose many fans", and henceforth JunJun and Linlin.

Personally, it is a really sad thing that it had to end so sudden especially after starting to really to used to Japan and having the Chinese concert. It really seemed to be coming together but obviously the decision was made. It's really kind of sad ;__;

They really need a great singer to replace some of the elder member when they finally depart, so my hope is that they pick someone with a great voice even if she isn't as cute as some of the others auditioning. No sayu#2 please.

To be honest I have no idea what to expect now.

I really wonder if Tsunku is going to look for a large 9th generation class. The ages of the girls will be important as well with Ai-chan & Gaki-san in their 20's now.

Everything is so pressured nowadays too, will Tsunku take time with "project" girls or go for immediate knockouts.

Honestly all I could hope for is perhaps a stronger womanly personality like Yossie coming in with a chip on their shoulder. But at the same time I wouldn't mind another 6th generation with really cute girls.

But Tsunku has got to be looking for some strong voices to bolster the core of the group now, something different too.

I'm not a Sayu wota but I can say that she has great heart and drive. Even if it comes off as a phony or cute character sometimes it still represents what she is doing as an idol.

i think her act is somewhat boring. there was a vid where she said her only friend was a pillbug. weird. not nearly as amusing as kago bullying yaguchi physically. i think there are ways to distinguish yourself. i'm not sure i like what she does. you could for one take diet and exercise much more seriously. you could actually try to improve your vocals. she seems to just be an attention whore. honestly the girls before yossi's generation were more interesting.

Maybe Yamazaki saw the crowds at AX and JX and compared them to the usual ~2000 people (if lucky) at the Japan concerts, and thought "MONEY CHANCE!!"

The new girls will be uniquely their own selves. Tsunku did a pretty good job compiling together the S/mileage girls, perhaps he will go the egg route. I mean they are apart of H!P for a reason right?

Bingo. Sayu has always come off to me as an air-headed-bimbo-prissy-princess-bitch that wants attention and doesn't give a shit about anyone but some of her closer friends. here's the problem i see with h!p auditions. if you pick a girl who is "too good - the entire package" she will be gone within a couple years at most. if you pick a girl who can't sing, you basically get MM of today. you need a balanced portfolio of girls. i'd like to see another maki, but chances are such one shot hits are unlikely to work out.

I don't get that picture AT all, those girls are brimming with personality at 15. They work awesome together as a group having gone through their Egg and Mano time together for a long time.

They are now popping up on the big shows, try watching a recent appearance or two from them. Or any of the Bijo Gaku episode segments.
