Why do Americans go either silent or extremely pretentious when the subject is them nuking Hiroshima and killing innocent children and citizens.
It's probably because they're hurting over the fact ?

Great question, wikipedia might know.

BAWWWWWWW collateral damage!

Because they either don't have much to say about it (it's been a really long time, pretty much all that is to be said has already been said), or they just want to be edgy and say something controversial.

Cry some more faggot. I'm sure the nips of 1945 would appreciate your weeaboo ass.

65 years aren't that much. People still live to tell the tale of that horror

First of all Americans as a whole aren't responsible for the deployment of the A-bomb. It was a decision deemed necessary by their military and government decades ago. They are no more responsible for those bombings than Germans these days are for the holocaust. I wish people would just learn from history instead of arguing who was at fault.

That bombing wasn't supposed to happen.
No non-military/political American citizen agreed to such an act. It was a decision entirely made by the military and government to end the war the Japanese were suicidally persisting on.

Fun fact: althought bleeding-heart weeaboo peaceniks tend to ignore or be unaware of it, America did warn the population of Hiroshima and Nagasaki that their cities would become the target of a massive bombing and they had to get out of the way if they didn't want to be harmed. Tons of lealfet like this were dropped from the sky in the days prior to the bombing.

Intelligent people complied with what was written on the back and fleed.
Stupid people didn't, stupid people were vaporized into oblivion.
The bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki wasn't only a victory for the United States, but also for social darwinism.

I don't understand why mods take down threads with content, like the Keine thread, but whenever a thread with rule-breaking content comes up, no-one does shit. Do your jobs, mods, please. Take down troll threads and porn threads please.

telling your friend you're going to kill him out of the blue is different to telling an enemy that you're going to bomb them out of oblivion if they don't surrender at the end of a war is completely different. You have no place to argue here.

So you are saying that it would've been better if they weren't warned at all, dooming them all to die in nuclear fire?
How hilarious and hypocrite. America acted in good faith, it's the Japs' fault if they had their head stuck up their asses and didn't understand that they were meaning business.

And this was on the back of those leaflets (originally written in Japanese, of course):

"Read this carefully as it may save your life or the life of a relative or friend. In the next few days, some or all of the cities named on the reverse side will be destroyed by American bombs. These cities contain military installations and workshops or factories which produce military goods. We are determined to destroy all of the tools of the military clique which they are using to prolong this useless war. But, unfortunately, bombs have no eyes. So, in accordance with America’s humanitarian policies, the American Air Force, which does not wish to injure innocent people, now gives you warning to evacuate the cities named and save your lives. America is not fighting the Japanese people but is fighting the military clique which has enslaved the Japanese people. The peace which America will bring will free the people from the oppression of the military clique and mean the emergence of a new and better Japan. You can restore peace by demanding new and good leaders who will end the war. We cannot promise that only these cities will be among those attacked but some or all of them will be, so heed this warning and evacuate these cities immediately."

See, American is not the villain the Jap nationalists wanted to paint them as. They gave the civilians enough time to escape and gave them reason to follow their advice. They wanted to use those cities as a test area for their super weapon in order to force into surrender the corrupt military clique ruling whom at the time was ruling Japan, but they didn't mean to voluntarily harm any human being.
If only mindless nationalism hadn't seized the hearts and minds of the Japanese, this act of benevolence wouldn't have gone to waste and more lives would have been spared.

So I can just send a message to wherever the guns being produced and then destroy the entire state. And that makes me right.
You're putting too much effort to keep a clean conscience
