Apparently no-one on /tv/ has watched this.

I watched this last week and it's been stuck in my head.

Is there anything remotely similar?

Have already watched Strange Circus.

Kamikaze Girls is a bizarre exaggerated story about friendship.

I've never even heard of it.
I didn't realize that /tv/ watched anything Asian.

I think it's pretty obscure.

I recommend it though. Upskirts, taboo sex, crossdressing, gore and a fucking awesome soundtrack. It has sparked my interest in Jap cinema again.

>Upskirts
that's cool
>taboo sex
I'm okay with this
>crossdressing
not my thing, but can be funny sometimes
>gore
I don't like gore, and Japanese is really bad about making it nasty
>and a fucking awesome soundtrack
That's cool, but the gore turned me off to it.

This is the flick that's 4 hours + some long, right?

>Kamikaze Girls
I liked it.

It's not obscure. Sono is a "famous" director since Suicide Club.
And my mother has broader taste in movies that /tv/, so that's not a surprise.
