I'm tired of being a NEET. Specifically, I'm tired of never being tired. Since I don't work, I'm never worn out at the end of the day. I try to fall asleep around 10 PM, but I have so much energy, I can't really fall asleep until 1 AM. This means I always wake up around 11 AM. So I've missed morning, the coolest time of day, and for the rest of the day I'm sweating.

Anyone else have this problem? What should I do about it? Get fatter?

>> No.5844288

Don't sleep for 10 hours a day

Even falling asleep at 1 am, you only need 6/7 hours of sleep if your eating/working out right

>> No.5844291

Go run or something, burn some energy and then you can feel tired once again.

>> No.5844292

What the fuck are you going to sleep so early for? Just sleep when you are tired, problem solved.

But for some reason I always sleep for longer than I need to, since there's nothing to wake me up. It would seem silly to set an alarm to wake me up to do nothing, but I could try.

>> No.5844305

I take medication to knock me out at night. I sleep when I want to sleep. It's fucking awesome. I used to have racing thoughts and anxiety before I went to bed but no longer. Now I can literally pound Mountain Dew all day, sit on my ass playing video games, and lurk 4chan then take a pill and be zonked the fuck out in 30 minutes.

...AND it's an anti-depressant! Look into it.

>> No.5844307

Use an alarm to wake yourself up at an ungodly hour, like seven or so, for every day for the next week.
Your body's clock will adjust and you will start being naturally tired by midnight.

>> No.5844321

Then sleep during the day?

I just went through a sleep schedule from 8AM to 5PM. I'm back at sleeping at 3-4AM now. Might just stay up for 30-40 hours again though. I'm in the basement and don't have your problem.

>> No.5844345

If you stay up later every night, start going to sleep at 3 am, 5 am, 8 am, you'll eventually end up waking up at 6 am and sleeping at 8pm. I go through these rotations all the time, does anyone else do this?

>> No.5844349

Mmm, I want to lick Kaguya's feet.

>> No.5844357

I usually stay awake for 20 hours then sleep for 12 hours.

Sweet, I feel weird when normal friends think it's really messed up and I hate it when they come by when I'm sleeping at 10 pm.
Sorry jp for having friends, I'll get out.

I used to eat right before I went to bed, but I lost my abs that way. Now I just stay away from caffeine and try to get in a positive mood before bed.

Might as well ask you, how do you keep your stomach flat? I can make the abs show if I inhale(Takes no effort and I can do it for hours) but it's just annoying as my stomach naturally protrudes. I think I may have too much muscle on my abs now, too(You can feel tense muscles over my upper ab without my flexing).

>> No.5844431

Living in a constantly dim environment is known to disrupt melatonin regulation and produce artificially long sleep cycles. Over the long term, this can cause changes in metabolism and increase the risk of cancer.
So maybe you should all consider leaving the computer and getting some sun once in a while?

What.

I'm always anywhere between 118-128 lbs (5'8") and it doesn't show. My abdomen is a fucking cave, too.

>> No.5844459

Exercise. Even jump rope in your room if you don't want to go anywhere or spend money, I'm serious. You need to get rid of all that energy you store by sitting on your ass all day.

Hey what do you know, I'm 120 lbs and 5'8 too.
I have some sort of six pack, but have really weak abs so it's not huge, so I just have a slender body like a trap. I'm workin on ab workouts now but doesn't seem to be getting anywhere soon.
But for most people they can just lose weight and their abs show. I've been trying all sorts of stuff, but I don't really know, I think I'll go ask /fit/ later.

The fat in the stomach area is supposedly the hardest to get rid of. My abs only deteriorated from a six pack to a 4 pack, so some time in the gym with sit ups and cardio did the trick. I got tips from a guy who seemed to know his stuff to do some low intensity cardio for fat burning. In your case I suggest going with that or maybe research high intensity training if you don't wanna spend hours doing cardio and are a masochist.

Go for walks around the neighborhood around sunset. I find that's when it seems like my neighborhood is the most alive. Alternatively, you could take walks after 1 AM when most people are asleep.

Hey, same here. Let's both throw on maid costumes and face masks. We'll have fun all night, you and I...

Oh, and I'd appreciate it if you threw on a hime-cut wig as well. Can't get off without it.

I would dress up as a cute loli and it is my desire to do so, but I'm too embarrassed to do it and I'm surrounded by too many normals.

Keep in mind, I'm posting this on /jp/ at 2 in the morning. That's well into pot-calling-kettle-black territory.

For the record, my sleep schedule is usually about 20 hours awake / 10 asleep. I miss all my diurnal friends...
