No, seriously, I'm not even being ironic with that. For as stupid as tripfags and namefags can be, I can just filter them. But this entire fucking board is just FILLED with bitter, lonely, angry otaku dipshits who have this insatiable need to act nasty all the time. So many people here seem to feel this strange need to act e-cool all the time. So many people here need to be so edgy and cool for reasons I cannot comprehend

An example would be a few weeks ago when some guy posted a thread about Planetarian, and close to every single poster just felt the need to be a total jackass. "Babby's first VN," "go read some real VNs," shit like that. And don't even get me started on the rare occasions when someone will ask for a VN recommendations thread, or a touhou game recommendations thread

It just baffles me why people let common courtesy go flying out the window on the internet. Pic related, a far better board's and a far better poster's realization of the futility of getting angry at threads you don't like
