I've actually just installed Rance and it's kinda confusing. There's like no tutorial explaining what the hell you should do or how to do it. I understand some of the basic mechanics but most of it is still vague. All I know is that I have to conquer all the regions.

Every one of your commanders goes up a level upon clearing a dungeon, regardless of whether they were used or not.

Does the Souun story dungeon not count then? I just cleared that and no one's level has gone up.

If you only do it for the Souun event, it's not actually cleared (and it should still say 0/7 I think), you have to do it again and actually finish the dungeon normally (you'll get 3 SenriQ's cups along with the level up)

I just started playing rance after not bothering for about a year becasue of all the threads about it.

I have no idea what the fuck I'm doing, get 2 moves each turn, I'm just clicking random options.
