I have two questions about this VN:

1) I've noticed there are some characters, no matter how low their unit count is assassination just doesn't seem to work, are the story characters unassassinable?

2) I'm currently fighting the hojo clan and I've got a save where Ran shows up in battle that is before the summon cutscene, and I'm trying to capture her. Is she uncapturable at this point, or do I just have obsurdly bad luck?

Protip: LOOK for other Rance threads first next time.

1. SOME story characters cannot be assassinated. It's like saying you can one-shot a boss character.

2. You can only capture Ran after Souun tells her not to use Suzaku.
